Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2023

MeridianSecurity Secure Logistics handles cash, assets and sensitive shipment information for banks, retailers and commercial businesses. Protecting the personal information entrusted to us is part of the same discipline we apply to physical custody. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

01

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — such as your name, business email, phone number and company details when you request a service or submit an enquiry — and information generated by our services, such as tracking references, shipment records, collection schedules and delivery confirmations.

When you use our website we also collect limited technical data, including browser type, pages visited and approximate region, to keep the site secure and improve its performance.

02

How we use your information

We use personal information to operate and deliver our services: scheduling collections, managing cash-in-transit routes, processing enquiries, providing tracking updates, and meeting our contractual and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use shipment or customer data for unrelated marketing.

03

How we protect information

Access to customer and shipment records is restricted to authorised staff under role-based controls. Systems are monitored, data in transit is encrypted, and physical records are stored in restricted-access facilities. Our personnel are vetted and trained in confidentiality and data-handling procedures.

04

Sharing with third parties

We share information only where necessary to deliver the service — for example with secure transport partners or financial institutions named in your contract — or where required by law, regulation or lawful request. Any partner that handles personal information on our behalf is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

05

Data retention

We retain records for as long as the service relationship requires and for the periods mandated by applicable financial, tax and transport regulations. Shipment and custody records are kept to support audit and dispute resolution, then securely destroyed.

06

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. To exercise these rights, contact our compliance office using the details below. We respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

07

Changes to this policy

We review this policy periodically and publish updates on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
